Two separate crashes are causing misery for motorists this morning.

The first saw a lorry drove up an embankment on the M2.

Delays were earlier said to be severe coast-bound between J5 for Sittingbourne and the Stockbury Roundabout and J6 for Faversham.

Police say a man is now in custody. Stock picture

But the delays are now said to be reducing, after the lorry went up the embankment and blocked one of the two lanes.

But a separate accident came along a similar stretch, involving a transit van and a white BMW.
