Store staff wear PJs for Demelza

Shoppers could be forgiven for thinking they were day-dreaming when visiting Wilkinson on Saturday.
Staff at the store in Sittingbourne High Street dressed up in their night shirts and slippers and held a pyjama party to raise money for Demelza Hospice Care for Children as part of Wilkinson’s charity partnership with Children’s Hospices UK.
The store was among the 322 across the country fund-raising for children’s hospices. Ian Ellis, Wilkinson’s chief financial officer, said: “The pyjama party kicked off our fund-raising activities. “I’m sure our colleagues and customers will give generously to help such an important cause and we hope everyone will have a bit of fun at the same time.”
