Teenager in serious condition after being hit by car in Mill Way, Sittingbourne

A teenage boy has been seriously injured after being hit by a car.

A blue Volkswagen Scirocco was travelling along Mill Way, from Eurolink Way, in Sittingbourne when it was involved in the crash with the teenager, who was crossing the road.

It happened at about 6.25pm yesterday.

The boy was taken by road ambulance to a London hospital with head injuries and remains in a serious condition.

Police said Mill Way was closed both ways for approximately five hours.

Officers from the Serious Collision Investigation Unit are investigating and are appealing for witnesses, or anyone who was travelling along that road and has dashcam footage, to call the appeal line on 01622 798538 or email sciu.td@kent.pnn.police.uk quoting HW/FM/004/20.
