The restaurant, which opened in October 2019, first revealed an ambitious plan to renovate in December last year.

It announced it was aiming to ditch its existing canopy and replace it with a light structure with glass panels to create more tables on its esplanade.

The eatery also made the headlines in March last year when one of its chefs, Tacim Yetis, scooped the chef of the year prize in the 10th annual British Kebab awards.
