A crash involving two vehicles has caused delays in a town centre this morning.

A car and van collided in East Street in Sittingbourne near Aldi supermarket shortly before 9am.

A police spokesman said: "Officers attended the scene where minor injuries were reported and arrangements were made to the recover the vehicles.

"Both vehicles have been recovered and officers are away from the scene."

Delays are still being reported by those nearby.
