Dashcam footage has captured the astonishing moment a man "surfed" on the roof of a moving car.

The daredevil can be seen clinging to the top of the vehicle as it careers around a roundabout in Sittingbourne.

Billy Dempsey, who filmed the scene at the junction of Vicarage Road and North Street in Milton Regis, says the man then stood up.

He posted stills from the video on Facebook, with the message: "Its amazing what you see when driving home!"

He added: "After he passed me he only stood up on the roof, he must be a right nutter."

The footage was filmed at around 5pm yesterday.
