Hundreds of villagers made their way to the Iwade Rocks music festival at the weekend.

All 400 adult wristbands were snapped up by residents.

Include the youngsters who also attended and the organisers believe more than 500 people were at the event which was held in the grounds of the village hall, off Ferry Road, on Saturday.

Live music was provided by eight bands. They were Disruptive Business, Dakota, The Kulpritts, The Charlie Monroe Band, Fat Badger, Guns ‘N’ Broses, Deepwater Horizon and Paragraph 1.

Visitors were able to tuck into burgers and jacket potatoes and buy alcohol throughout the day but it was a popcorn and candy floss stand which proved to be a real hit.

There was also face painting and a bouncy castle to keep the children entertained.
