Water engineers are battling to stop a flood of water gushing along a main road in Doddington.
According to motorists about six-inches of water has flooded Manor Road, heading towards The Street, near the pumping station at the corner of the two roads.
Engineers are on the scene trying to solve the problem.
A passing motorist said: “It’s about 6in deep along the road. It’s like a waterfall, it’s gushing out so fast.
“It looks like we’ve had weeks of rainfall. The road is still passable, but drivers are looking twice at it.”
