Here’s one schoolboy who didn’t get a ticking off for monkeying around.

Patrick Cantellow, who attends the town’s Fulston Manor, got the chance to get up close and personal with a group of primates after he was asked to star in a promotional film about Howletts Wild Animal Park, near Canterbury.

The 15-year-old spent 15 hours with the production company entering enclosures.

Patrick Cantellow was lucky enough to be asked to star in a promotional film about Howletts Zoo

He also took on a tree top challenge, which saw him spend an extra long-time among the branches because the crew had to keep reshooting it.

The video will be shown in both attractions in the spring and will appear on TV.

He said: “It was a fantastic day and, although I was exhausted, I would do it all over again tomorrow given half the chance.”
