Youths firing fireworks at Bobbing foot crossing caught by British Transport Police

Yobs have been caught setting fireworks off at a foot crossing.

The British Transport Police (BTP) were called to Bobbing at 1.10am this morning.

When they arrived the youths fled the scene but were chased by officers and a dog.

They were “quickly” detained and were subjected to a stop check.

Their details were taken and were given “words of advice” before leaving.

The BTP say it will “confirm if any offences were committed and if so deal with them at a later date”.
