Sittingbourne haven't had it this good for years.

A run of seven wins in eight games has lifted Brickies to fifth place in Ryman League Division 1 South and set up an FA Cup second qualifying round tie at home to Hoddesdon on Saturday.

Along with Ebbsfleet they are the form team in Kent and boss Nick Davis is proud of his squad.

He said: "There's no superstars but what we do have is a fantastic team spirit, honest lads putting in a massive shift every single game and people who believe in what we're trying to do.

"We have to keep our feet on the ground but little old Sittingbourne haven't had much to shout about over the last few years, so you have to enjoy the good times."

Brickies are due to meet fellow high-fliers Dorking at home on Tuesday night (7.45pm).

There will be a pitch inspection at 2.30pm.
