Biddenden Vineyards wins six medals at the English and Welsh Wine of the Year Competition

Six medals were awarded to Biddenden Vineyards at the annual English and Welsh Wine of the Year Competition.

Silver awards went to Gribble Bridge Sparkling Rosé, Ortega and Pinot Selection, with Bacchus, Gribble Bridge Dornfelder and Gribble Bridge Rosé achieving bronze.

Tom Barnes, winemaker at Biddenden, said: “We are delighted that we have again been recognised for the skills, expertise and passion which go into crafting all of our wines.”

Biddenden Vineyard's Ortega won a silver award

Organised by the United Kingdom Vineyard Association, the English and Welsh Wine of the Year Competition receives entries from over 90 producers all over the UK.

This year a record breaking 327 wines were entered.

Biddenden Vineyards has also released Schönburger, a new sweet wine.
