A28 crash at High Halden between Ashford and Tenterden

Drivers have been warned to expect delays after a crash on the A28.

The crash, which involved one car, has left the road partially blocked between Ashford and Tenterden.

The incident happened at midday and is near the junction with Cripple Hill in High Halden.

Police said only "minor injuries" were reported with officers remaining at the scene while the car is recovered.

A spokesman confirmed the road is still open.

Debris from the crash is strewn across the carriageway and is causing an obstruction, Kent Highways confirmed.

A team is en route to clear the damage but drivers have been advised to approach with caution.
