Air ambulance and fire crews called to High Halden Lane, in High Halden, following crash

A 20 year-old woman driver had to be cut free from her car after it crashed into a tree.
The incident happened in High Halden and two fire appliances were called to the scene at 8.32am this morning.
Crews had to remove the roof of the Vauxhall Corsa to release the trapped casualty.
The air ambulance was called to the incident at High Halden Lane, leading towards Church Hill, and landed in a nearby field.
The woman was treated at the crash site by an air ambulance doctor and paramedic, before being transferred by land ambulance to the William Harvey Hospital in Ashford.
Fire crews left the scene at 9.18am.
