Police hunt for thugs after woman injured in High Halden egging

A woman was injured after she was hit in the face in a drive-by egging.

Police were called to Ashford Road in High Halden after the incident on Sunday, which happened around 7.45pm.

A force spokesman said: "A woman reported she was struck by an egg thrown from a passing car, possibly a dark coloured hatchback, causing an injury to her face."

Unconfirmed reports on social media say the young woman had to have stitches in her face after the incident.
