Woman dragged into car on Crescent Road in Ramsgate and held against her will

A woman was dragged into a car and held against her during a terrifying attack.

The victim was in Crescent Road in Ramsgate when it happened.

But she managed to escape from the car when it reached Minster roundabout.

The attack happened at around 6.20pm yesterday.

Police spokesman James Walker said: "Kent Police is investigating a report that a woman was held against her will after getting into a vehicle in Crescent Road.

"The woman is understood to have got out of the vehicle near the Minster roundabout.

"No injuries have been reported and enquiries to establish the full circumstances are underway."
