Fire crews were called to rescue the cat Pic: Mark Westley

They were called by the RSPCA, which couldn't reach the feline because of the height of the ledge.

A height vehicle was sent to the scene along with the fire service Line Rescue Team.

The team abseiled down to the ledge to rescue the moggy, which was handed back to the RSPCA.
