Drum and bass legend Andy C is coming to Margate.

The underground icon - who has performed sell-out shows at Wembley Arena and Brixton Academy - will take to the stage at Dreamland on Saturday, August 31.

Dubbed a "full park takeover", the gig will run from 4pm to 11pm and include a host of other acts.

Andy C, who regularly headlines festivals such as Creamfields, Glastonbury and Boomtown, has won more than 40 awards during his career.

As the owner and figurehead for Ram Records, he is also the man behind other acts such as Chase & Status, Sub Focus and Wilkinson, the latter supporting him at the theme park gig.

He is known for his triple turntable set up and signature ‘double drop’ of two tracks’ basslines at the same time.

Tickets are £15 and go on sale at 10am on Friday, May 31.
