Thieves target cars on Christmas Day in Monkton Road, Monkton Street and Willets Hill, in Minster near Ramsgate

Police need witnesses after a number of cars were broken into on Christmas Day.

Officers received calls reporting that cars had been entered and their contents removed, in the Minster area of Ramsgate, including in Monkton Road, Monkton Street and Willets Hill.

It is believed the vehicles were targeted between midnight and 7am that day with tools and fishing equipment amongst the items that were stolen.

Investigating officers want to hear from anyone who might have information that could help them, such as doorbell footage or CCTV.
