DETECTIVES are appealing for anyone who is missing a Pilgrim's Hospice collecting box.

It has been recovered during an investigation and police are anxious to trace where it has come from.

It is believed that the box may have been on a counter in shop or business in the Thanet area.

The hospice has been contacted but there is no record of a box being stolen.
