MISSING: Lillian Baugh, known as Min

POLICE officers in Thanet are seeking the public’s help to find an elderly woman who hasn’t been seen since 9pm on Thursday night.

A carer went to check on Lillian Baughn, 80, of Westgate-on-Sea, early on Friday morning but found her missing. It appeared her bed had not been slept in.

Officers believe Lillian, who goes by the nickname Min, may have wandered off from her house and they are concerned for her welfare due to her age, the weather and confused state of mind.

Police officers and volunteers from Kent Search and Rescue have been searching around Lillian’s neighbourhood, as well as the Westgate cliffs.

Lillian is 5ft 5in tall, of slim build, and was possibly wearing a green/blue roll neck sweater, dark blue skirt and lace up brown shoes. Her hair colour is slightly greyer than in the picture.

Anyone who sees Lillian or knows her whereabouts is asked to contact Kent Police on (01843) 231 055.
