Police searching for a missing man have found a body.

Colin Ferguson, 43, was reported missing from his home in the Walpole Bay area on Friday.

Officers were called to a location near Dane Park in Cliftonville at around 5.30pm where a man was found. He was declared dead at the scene.

Formal identification has not yet taken place but Colin's family have been informed.

The death is not being treated as suspicious and a report is being prepared for the corner.
