A blaze which spread through a children's play park is thought to have been started by arsonists.

Fire crews were called to the park in Dumpton, near Ramsgate, after the flames took hold at 7.15pm last night.

It is believed someone set fire to the rubber matting surrounding the park in Wickham Avenue, with the flames quickly spreading to the play equipment.
