Band concert takes place this Sunday

Thanet Concert Band and Hythe Town Band stage their annual joint concert at the Granville Theatre, Ramsgate, on October 19 at 2:30pm.

This year’s programme has a stage anbd screen theme and will music from James Bond films, The Lion King and the Dambusters.

Tickets are on sale at the Granville Theatre box office at £5.50 for adults and £4.50 for under 12’s.

Thanet Concert band was formed in 1972 and is made up entirely of volunteer amateur musicians, conducted by Keith Twyman, a music teacher at King Ethelbert’s School in Birchington. He also conducts Snowdon Colliery Brass band.
