A man has been taken to hospital by ambulance following a crash between a motorbike and a car.

The incident happened in Highfield Road, Ramsgate, close to Dame Janet Primary School shortly before 8am today.

Emergency services were called to the scene, before the motorcyclist was taken to a local hospital

Police closed the road, but reopened it at about 10.45am.

There are still delays in the area.
