A furious yob hurled bags of construction waste across a high street during a bizarre rampage.

The footage captured outside Pawn It in Ramsgate shows the man storming up to the bin bags before tossing them over his shoulder - leaving rubbish strewn across the ground.

Store manager Josh Jaconelli told KentOnline that Thanet District Council workers had to clean up the rubbish following the incident at 10.41pm on Saturday.

He said the shop could be liable for costs incurred to clear it.

"It was due to be picked up in the morning," he said.

"We are having some revamp work done and the guys who were due to pick it up have left it because it was all over the floor.

"We understand these things do happen but it was completely unprovoked and reckless for no reason."

The man in the video has been urged to come forward so he can pay any charges.
