Detectives investigating the disappearance of a well-known children's author have found a body, it's been revealed.

Officers made the discovery within the grounds of her home in Royston in Hertfordshire - almost three months after she went missing.

On Monday police arrested a 55-year-old man in Broadstairs on suspicion of murder.

Police were this week seen searching a house in Serene Place in the town - believed to be the author's holiday home.
