Schoolboy injured in hit-and-run in Ramsgate Road, Margate

A schoolboy on his bike suffered a injury to his foot during a hit-and-run.

The boy, who has not been named, was cycling along Ramsgate Road, Margate, with his mate when he was hit by a yellow Mini Cooper.

The car was travelling towards Margate at the time of the incident which happened at about 7.10pm on Tuesday, March 12.

The boy was injured in Ramsgate Road, Margate (7947273)

The boy suffered a foot injury and attended a hospital for treatment.

Officers would like to speak to the driver of the car who was a man.

He was driving was a yellow Mini Cooper with a black roof and white stripes, and anyone else who saw the collision is also asked to police.
