Police hunt suspected burglar wearing camouflage baseball cap seen fleeing property in Grange Road, Broadstairs

Police are trying to track down a suspected burglar donning a camouflage baseball cap who was seeing fleeing a property following a break-in.

The man was seen running away from the scene in Grange Road, Broadstairs, on Monday after the burglary, which happened about 9.50pm.

The resident called police and patrols attended straight away, however the suspect was not located.

The victim said she arrived home to find the back door of the premises broken and inside, a wallet, cash, bank cards and a driving licence were missing.

Police carried out house-to-house calls and reviewed CCTV.

Officers believe the suspect was wearing a baseball cap with a camouflage design and fled the address shortly after the burglary in the direction of Beacon Road.

Detectives are urging anyone who saw anything suspicious or has information that could assist in identifying the man to come forward.
