Alexander Steine charged with Ramsgate burglary

A 45-year-old man has been charged with burglary after police recovered a hammer and cash in Ramsgate town centre.

Officers on patrol also seized an identity card during the incident on Monday.

All three items were reported stolen from a home in King Street earlier that day.

Alexander Steine, of Southwood Road in Ramsgate, was arrested and charged with one count of burglary.

He has been remanded in custody to appear at Canterbury Crown Court on October 17.
