A car flipped on its side in a crash involving five vehicles.

The pile-up happened in Ramsgate Road, Margate, near Nash Court Road, just after 6.30pm.

Police, ambulance crews and firefighters were called to the scene.

No one is thought to have been critically injured.

A police spokesman said: "Police were called to a collision at 6.35pm on Ramsgate Road in Margate.

"Five vehicles are reported to be involved.

"Officers are at the scene and recovery is being arranged for vehicles involved."
