Wall collapses on Norfolk Road, Cliftonville

Images show the dramatic collapse of a wall in Thanet .

The brick and slat divider at a residential property came down on Norfolk Road, Cliftonville, yesterday at about 6am.

The Cliftonville wall collapsed at about 6am yesterday (42431381)

A car parked nearby was damaged in the fall.

Though the exact cause is unknown, it is believed the strong winds are to blame and police were made aware.

A car suffered damage through the unfortunate felling (42431379)

A police spokesman said: "At 7.56am on Saturday, we were notified that a wall in Norfolk Road, Cliftonville, had collapsed.

"A parked car is reported to have been damaged and the owner of the wall is aware."
