Suspected county lines dealer Mateo Bondzie from Broadstairs charged with crack cocaine and heroin offences

A suspected drug dealer whose mobile phones and cash were discovered in a raid now faces court.

Officers carried out a warrant under the Misuse of Drugs Act at a property in Broadstairs in Thanet on Tuesday, September 15.

Having recovered items such as phones and cash, they arrested Mateo Bondzie, of Poplar Road.

He has since been charged with being concerned in the supply of crack cocaine between August 18 and September 15 2020, being concerned in the supply of heroin on July 23 and possession of criminal property, namely £560.

The 22-year-old appeared at Medway Magistrates’ Court via virtual link on Wednesday and was remanded in custody.

The case will next be heard at Canterbury Crown Court on Monday, October 19.
