CCTV images released after serious assault in Cliftonville Avenue, Margate

Detectives have released CCTV images after a man was reportedly stabbed in the back.

Police were called to Cliftonville Avenue, Margate, on November 7 at around 10.20pm after they received a report of a disturbance involving a group of men.

Officers have now released images of two men they would like to speak to.

A police spokesperson said: “One of the men was reported to have sustained a back injury consistent with a stab wound and sought treatment at a local hospital.

“As part of an ongoing investigation, officers would like to identify and speak to the two people pictured, as they may have information which could assist inquiries.

“Police also want to speak to anyone who saw or heard anything suspicious between 10pm and 10.45pm that evening, in the area of Cliftonville Avenue, Approach Road and Dane Park.”
