Ramsgate goalkeeper Sam Mott

Ramsgate substitute Sam Mott stepped into the breach to help Jim Ward's side keep a third successive clean sheet at Chipstead in Ryman League, Division 1 South on Saturday.

Regular goalkeeper Danny Twyman aggravated a knee injury during the first half and had to be replaced at half-time by Mott, pictured.

Mott, however, was rarely troubled during the second half and it was Ramsgate who looked more likely to break the deadlock.

However in the end the sides had to settle for a share of the spoils, as they had in their first meeting at Southwood back in August.
