A car and bike have been involved in a crash.

Kent Police and the ambulance service were called just before 11am today to the collision in Princes Road, Ramsgate, at the junction with Margate Road.

A force spokesman added: "Officers and the South East Coast Ambulance Service attended the scene where the cyclist was treated for injuries.

"He was subsequently taken to a local hospital for further medical attention."

The road was closed for emergency services to deal with the incident and re-opened just before 11.30am.

No further update has yet been available on the cyclist's injuries.
