A man awaiting sentence for dangerous driving has gone on the run after he was unable to attend court following a separate crash that killed his brother.

Jake Pedrick-Harvey, 22, was to appear before a judge at Canterbury Crown Court on April 15, but was seriously injured in the fatal smash the night before.

His older brother died after the car they were travelling in crashed into trees in Spitfire Way, Manston.

When he failed to appear in court Pedrick-Harvey, formerly of Poets Corner, Margate, and most recently of Kenton Gardens, Minster, was to be sentenced for dangerous driving in Dane Road, Margate, in January this year.

Now police are hunting for Pedrick Harvey, who is also wanted in connection with the fatal crash in Manston.
