A King Charles Spaniel has to be rescued by firefighters when it got stuck in railings - while chasing a pigeon.

Firefighters were called to Victoria Parade in Broadstairs on Saturday.

The dog was apparently chasing the bird and then became wedged between railings on the promenade and its owners was unable to free it.
