Ramsgate: Dog rescued by crews during bungalow fire in Derwent Avenue

A dog was rescued by firefighters while they tackled a bungalow blaze.

Three fire engines were called to Derwent Avenue just before 10pm yesterday.

Crews found the fire in the roof space of the two semi-detached bungalows.

They used breathing apparatus, two hose reel jets, a main jet and a positive ventilation fan to clear the smoke before leaving the scene.
