Dreamland in Margate opens for summer period on May 29

Dreamland has revealed when it will reopen for the spring and summer season.

Like last year the Margate amusement park will have free entry and rides will be operated on a pay-per-ride basis from Sunday, May 29.

On June 8 there will be a show by Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds, fronted by the former Oasis songwriter.

Three days later there is Sands, a one-day festival of electronic, techno, jazz and soul music with performers such as Elkka and George Fitzgerald.

The tribute group From the Jam play on June 16. The line-up includes the original Jam bassist Bruce Foxton.

The founder of The Jam, Paul Weller, plays as a soloist on July 15.

The girl group Sugababes will headline Dreamland Margate’s Pride celebrations on the evening of August 13.
