Crash near QEQM hospital in Ramsgate Road, Margate sees two rushed to London hospital

A crash has resulted in two people being rushed to a specialist hospital after suffering serious injuries.

The collision, which happened in the early hours of this morning in near the QEQM hospital in Ramsgate Road, Margate, involved a car smashing into a number of parked vehicles.

Emergency services arrived at the scene shortly after the accident and has been closed through the night, police said.

"Kent Police was called at 2.30am on September 25 to a report of a collision in Ramsgate Road, Margate.

"One car is reported to have collided with several parked cars," a spokesman said.

"Officers attended along with other emergency services and two people from the car were taken to a London hospital to be treated for serious injuries."

The road reopened at about 9.45am.
