Broadstairs sex assault: e-fit released by police

Detectives investigating a sexual assault in Broadstairs have released a computer-generated image of a teenager they would like to speak to.

The incident is reported to have occurred on Sunday July 10 at about 4pm.

The victim, an 18-year-old girl, was reportedly walking in Salisbury Road, Broadstairs, when a teenage boy approached her and sexually assaulted her.

She shouted out in response and was then able to leave the scene and contact police.

The suspect is described as white, aged around 16 to 17-years-old, about 5ft 8ins tall with dark brown hair.

He was wearing a distinctive snapback hat and multi-coloured jacket.

Investigating officer Det Sgt Richard Lown said: "I am keen to hear from anyone who may have seen this person in the area or who may recognise him."
