Ramsgate cruised to a 2-0 at Ryman League Division 1 South relegation battlers Eastbourne Town on Saturday.

Jim Ward's side dominated for long spells and Tom Tsangarides won a 30th-minute penalty whch was despatched by Gary Lockyer to open the scoring.

The second goal arrived just seven minutes later, Rhys Lawson crossing for Andy Hadden, whose diving header found the net.

Danny Twyman denied the hosts a consolation two minutes from time, saving a penalty.

The win moved the Rams back up to 12th in the table and reignited their hopes of a top-10 finish.
