Margate: Police investigating break-in attempt in Sweyn Road, Cliftonville release image of man

Police investigating an attempted burglary in Margate have released a computer-generated image of a man they want to speak to.

Attempts were made to get into a property in Sweyn Road, Cliftonville, through a window between 8.30pm and 8.50pm on Saturday.

Officers have issued an image of a man seen in the area at the time of the attempted burglary.

The man is described as black, clean-shaven with short hair. He is thought to have been wearing a green parka coat with a fur hood, and a brown tracksuit.

Anyone with information or who can identify the man in the image is asked to call police on 01843 222289 quoting 46/ZY/64141/18, or Crimestoppers in Kent anonymously on 0800 555 111.
