A young boy was allegedly pulled into a car and punched as he walked home from school in Thanet.

The 10-year-old was walking along Station Road, Birchington, at around 3.45pm last Friday (November 12), when a car is said to have pulled up alongside him.

The boy told police he was then dragged into the silver Vauxhall Astra and punched.

A 49-year-old man has since been arrested in connection with the incident and released on police bail.
