A new art deco-inspired bar and lounge opened today offering everything from "decadent" afternoon teas to late-night cocktails.

The opulently-appointed Reign in Albion Street, Broadstairs, has been created by award-winning hospitality interior designers, Lifeforms Design, based in Margate.

They were commissioned by owners Katy and Paul King who wanted to reflect the history of the 1920s building and have used an eye-catching palate of colours, finishes, mood lighting and brass and marble details to stunning effect.

The new venue brings another offering to the growing eclectic mix of bars and restaurants in the town, now enjoying opening up inside after the further easing of lockdown today.

Reign has been fitted out with bespoke furniture, including a banquette bar and crystal lighting

The project was led by Lifeforms founder Lee Pollock, which celebrates its 20th year in the industry this year,

Winner at the Restaurant & Bar Design Awards, Lifeforms has projects all over the country from London to Leeds.
