Man acting in 'erratic manner' arrested in Margate

A man acting in an "erratic manner" has been arrested for failing to provide a breath test.

The 33-year-old was detained by police in Margate in the early hours of yesterday.

The arrest took place in Byron Avenue

Officers were called to Byron Avenue at about 4.30am to deal with the disturbance, and located a man inside a car.

A spokesman for the force said: "Officers attended Byron Avenue following reports of a man acting in an erratic manner.

"A 33-year-old man was located inside a car at the location and arrested for failing to provide a breath test."
