Ramsgate: Police appeal for witnesses after Broadstairs man was arrested on suspicion of assaulting two people

A man has been arrested on suspicion of assaulting two people and damaging a window in Ramsgate.

The 36-year-old from Broadstairs was taken into custody in the early hours of this morning after yesterday's incident.

Police were called to King Street at 7.10pm to reports a man was causing a disturbance.

A man and woman were assaulted, but their injuries are not thought to be life-threatening.

The man is in custody and investigating officers are asking for anyone who was in the area at the time to get in touch.
