Man taken to hospital after being bottled in Broadstairs fight

A man was taken to hospital after being bottled during a fight in a town centre.

Police were called to the early hours incident at the junction of High Street and Prospect Place in Broadstairs.

The victim has since been discharged, but detectives say they are now searching for a man in his 30s who is thought to have been involved in the fight.

A police spokesman said: "Officers want to identify a man described as white, in his 30s, with short brown hair and stubble.

"He was wearing a green and white Adidas jacket and was reportedly involved in the incident."

The incident took place at about 12.45am on Sunday, August 29.

Officers are urging who saw the altercation or has information about it to call them on 01843 222289, quoting the reference number 46/160311/21 or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111.
