Man from Dover charged after Ramsgate railway station staff member 'pushed and spat at'

A man in his 40s has been charged after a railway staff member was reportedly pushed and spat at.

The incident is alleged to have happened at Ramsgate station at 11.26pm on Friday.

Graham Bates, 46, of Snargate Street in Dover, was arrested and has since been charged with common assault and threatening behaviour.

He was released on bail and is due to appear at Margate Magistrates' Court on May 26.
